Rates / Tariffs

All tariffs are quoted in Australian Dollars.  Tariffs include cooked & continental breakfast provisions which will be restocked for the duration of your stay as required.  We also provide on the first night a complimentary bottle of wine, chocolates and fresh fruit.

Rate is structured as follows, inclusive of GST, until 4th April, after which prices increase:  

   1 Room (Sleeps 1-2 people) $235.00,   

    2 Rooms (Sleeps 2-4 people) $355.00,

    3 Rooms (Sleeps 3-6 people) $475.00 

Unfortunately Merlot and Verdelho do not accommodate children.

Each townhouse has 1 King and 2 Queen Bedrooms and can accommodate 3 couples or equivalent singles.

Deposits & Full Payments

A deposit of 50% of total booking is to be paid immediately by Cheque or Direct Debit, or credit card to secure a booking.  Please phone 0413 512 559 or 08-87373035 to make a booking or email enquire@merlotverdelho.com.au.   Payments made are not deemed to be complete until declared and verified by Messenger Family Trust Bank Statements. Full payment is due 14 days prior to arrival date.  For credit card payments please phone either number above.

Cancellation

The Deposit is refundable, less $50.00 administration levy if cancellation occurs more than 14 days prior to arrival date.  If less than 14 days to arrival date we will endeavour to rebook the accommodation, if successful Deposit/Full Payment is refunded (less $50.00 administration fee).  If rebooking is unsuccessful Merlot & Verdelho, there will be no refunds and you will be charged for your full booking amount. Cancellations will only be accepted through phone contact on 0413 512 559 or 08-87373035 (messages left on answering machines will not be accepted).

Check In Time is from 2.00pm 

Check Out Time is 10.00am.

Smoking & Cleaning

Merlot & Verdelho Townhouses endorses a strictly NO SMOKING policy inside the luxury townhouses.  Merlot & Verdelho reserves the right to charge each occupant a cleaning fee on top of the nightly rate, if smoking has occurred in the townhouses.  The property is to be left is a clean and neat fashion, if the cleaner has to be spend excess time cleaning after your stay, you will be charged accordingly. ie doing dishes, collecting rubbish, putting items away.

Pets

Unfortunately Merlot & Verdelho Townhouses cannot accommodate pets.

Minimum Night Bookings

 4 nights over Christmas Period

 4 nights over Easter Period

 3 nights long weekends, Penola Festival, Coonawarra Cabernet Weekend and other special events.

2 nights over Coonawarra Vignerons Cup, New Year Period.

Minimum night bookings are subject to the discretion of the Management in the event of special event Weekends.

Discounts

Discounts will only apply if booked direct with Merlot & Verdelho, and exclude Christmas, Easter or peak periods.

   * 10% discount if booking is 6 or more nights continuous stay in the same townhouse.

 These discounts are only applicable if booked through Merlot & Verdelho staff, and the numbers listed on this website.
